Do they ever close the gate leading to boat ramp on Limestone Creek?

If you mean at arrowhead no. You can get to the ramp there all year.

The ramp is always accessable, but they close the roadways throughout the Wheeler Wildlife refuge during duck season and at other times.

the ramp is open and there are occasionally thieves particularly on week days,so I leave mine unlocked and nothing in it......

I have never ever seen the road to the ramp or the ramp closed. I have seen the entire bay frozen over, and fished it. Gotta admit the ramp was a bit dicey or icey, take your pick.

Yes. 5-6 years ago. Some jerk crowbarred into my toolbox. Got hundreds of dollars in tools that I shouldn’t have in there anyway. I get the most expensive things out now.
