All tournament trails I know of have a rule that says that if you have ever been disqualified from any tournament you cannot fish in their tournament.

I'm glad and happy with BnM for parting ways with this gentleman before this event. They showed class and expect better from Pro Staff.
Also he is banned for life from fishing any other events.
Here is from BnM facebook.
To all of our FB Friends,
As many of you already know, there was a situation during the recent Crappie USA Tournament on Old Hickory Lake that was held October 25-26. Based on the images that are being disseminated across multiple social media platforms, we feel the need to inform our friends and supporters that Paul Turner was not a part of the B'n'M Family when the incident occurred this past weekend. Our relationship with Mr. Turner was dissolved on August 19, after the conclusion of another tournament during which we believed something suspicious occurred.
As a participant in the Crappie industry for over 70 years, we strive to uphold the highest of standards whether it relates to our product, our customer service, or in this case, our Pro Staff. Our Pro Staff and Ambassadors are held to extremely high standards and our expectation is that they will be good stewards of the great sport of crappie fishing.
Thanks for all of your support!

When I was a teenager my best friends Dad and his fishing partner fished all the big bass tourneys here in Indiana, they would go to a lake a week before the tournament with a homemade fish box and catch several 5-6# bass and put them in this live box.. they won a lot of tournaments and were eventually caught and were banned from all tournaments after that plus it cost them a bunch of money..
same guy was also caught poaching deer had 3 illegal deer hanging in a friends barn and someone turned him in, it ended up costing him thousands of dollars in legal fees to not lose his hunting license for life. Bad thing is he continued to do it even after this, had no hunting or fishing ethics what so ever.
This all happened back in the early to late 70`s.
Weird they parted ways in Aug but he has on a B'n'M shirt. Lol.
There's no telling how long this has been going on or how many more fishermen there are that still do this. There's a ton of money on the table, trucks and boats. Money is the root of all evil.
Glad they caught him. From what I was told, they gave him 2 options ... go to jail and keep the fish or leave the fish and be gone for good. He chose to "leave the fish". Lol
