Not much excitement with multiple poles. Kind of like pulling a net, great way to put meat in the pan

Watch it JACK! Lol Nothing like the thump !! and love too watch the cork go under but pulling jigs or cranks is fun when you have someone in the boat that hasn’t ever caught may fish especially a kid or someone that don’t get to fish much! Or if your in Mississippi and catching those 2lbers !

Kids love it for sure. Maybe I need to modify my rod holder. I can shoot 4 of them under a dock at one tine and pull them out with the trolling motor. Going to call it buck shoting a dock

I do it all, depending on the time of year- My favorite is the single pole, for sure.

Nothing wrong with pulling jigs, it's not my favorite but in February and March it's had to beat it. There's a time and place for all of it. The more tricks you know the better in my opinion.

Single pole is how I fish 100% of the time. Thats not to say that I am against change, it is just the way that I prefer to fish. I started crappie fishing exclusively 3 - 4 years with my goal being to learn how to use my electronics. I took all of the bass fishing equipment out of my boat. I replaced all that gear with one spinning reel/rod (which I had never owned before) and a couple of colors of Bobby Garland jigs. My self imposed rules where to find and fish nothing but offshore cover. Now I own several more spinning rod/reels and lures and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I average 1 day of fishing every week regardless of weather.

My favorite is a single pole rigged with a bb split shot, minnow hook and quill for a float. But definitely love it all. I was just raised on the quill.
