Good job Brad I hope I can give them a try at the end of the weekend and Monday for the holiday I'll be over at Guntersville Saturday for the C.A.S.T. for kids event I hope I can find a few fish over there for them.

Surely glad the weather has turned and made it a lot more pleasant to be on the water

At any rate, I was glad to be able to go and go on Guntersville and actually catch more than a few any time of the year other than the spring. Maybe all y'alls help is finally kicking in. LOL

Nice job! I tried Guntersville for the first time in years today. Fished bridges, trolled cranks, and shot some great looking docks in Honeycomb creek. Managed a bass and two stripe, not a single crappie! Was fishing Honeycomb. Forgot how popular the Big G is, saw guys from Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana!

Phillip, yes I used it. All these fish were caught single poling. Some of the fish I caught because of the LS, some of them it was no help. I haven't used it enough to be good with it yet, but you can dang sure count the fish in a treetop with it. I have a hard time finding my jig with it, but can if I stay with it a while.

Coach B, when we got to the boat ramp there were 20 bass boats that had just finished a bass tourney. That was at 4:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. I don't know how they scrape up enough guys to fish a tourney on Wednesday but it's doesn't seem like they had any problems with it. There were boats from GA, TN and AL in the group. There's always a lot of out of state boats on Guntersville. In late winter and early spring us natives are outnumbered.
