JIG COLORS

I want to ask a question about certain colors. I know chartreuse rules or any color combination of chartreuse. And I see a lot of pink and combinations of it as well.
I was watching a guy on youtube putting different color jigs in different colors of water in jars.Seems like the dark colors were better over all to me.
Let's use stained water conditions to keep things simple.
What are your opinions on colors:black, silver or gray, green & gold?

Silver and grey for me, also deep.

In my opinion this gets more attention than it should, most days they will hit what ever you put on front of them. I may have 1 or 2 days that they are picky a year. With that said in dark water I start with black and chartreuse. In the fall I want even take my box, just some white and chartreuse 16oz marabou jigs. The best crappie fishermen in know has 3 colors in his box. He has been doing that for 40 years and catches more than anyone I know.

Gray has been a good color for me. Especially when the shad are running

Black/chartreuse , white /chartreuse, green/chartreuse,

Blue/chartreuse, green/chartreuse, purple/chartreuse. Those are my favorite colors but most of the time I don't think it really matters. If they are feeding they will bite about any color and if they are locked down they are not going to bite much. I like darker colors in stained water which is most of the water I fish. In Clearer water shad colors work pretty good
