    Default Weiss Lake Reports?

I know everyone know's Weiss is the "Crappie Capitol of the World". I like fishing this lake when I can. I'm just wondering why there aren't many reports for Weiss. Out of sight out of mind maybe? Keeping things on the DL? My birthday is coming up and I considered making a trip down there for the weekend. Haven't been in a couple years and was just wondering, how the lake is fishing?
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

She ant what she used to be! But all lakes go thru a down swing every now and then. How ever fish can still be caught on river ledges in and around the trash and on deeper docks !
Thanks Mr. S thanked you for this post

So should I pick somewhere else? I know very little about Gville. I've only been there twice. And the last time was at the camp this spring. I didn't know anything about it then much less where I was or where Jackson County Park was for that matter. Weiss Lake Reports?

Guntersville used to be my home lake before relocating for work. I did well there a few years ago.

Anywhere in the area is going to be a little tuff right now because of dealing with the heat the fish are still biting but you may have to cover lots of water to figure out where they are biting at!

My Uncle used to take me down there when I was a teen. I guess that's why I have fond memories of the lake. I can still remember exactly where we used to anchor up an fire up the lanterns and hang them the over the side of his aluminum boat. Lit that lake up with a half dozen or so. Was a store in Chattanooga at that time named World Sales, that's where he would buy all his terminal tackle. "Crappie Rigs" were like a $0.35 a piece if you bought the whole card of them. Ah but I reminisce, any who, I reserved a room for this wknd. If the morning bite don't work out, I'll stock up on minner's and Coleman fuel and try the night bite. Who know's, I may get down there and find me a worman or two to be good to.. Like Elmo says "Be good ta ya worman, and she'll be good ta you!' Last one with a jig in the water is a rotten fish!
