So after the memory inducing trips it is time to go home and hopefully with a cooler full of fish to clean. The trip has produced a time spent that a dollar amount can’t be attached to. But if you are thoughtful the pleasures of the crappie won’t end there. I get no greater joy than that of securing a few bags of fillets and delivering them to the elderly that can no longer get them for theirselves. A widow woman or a couple that loved a crappie meal but can’t fish anymore. They are always so appreciative and happy to be thought of ...... well I can’t describe the felling, I just feel good all over. So a good trip can be a blessing and fun x 2. I hope someone remembers me when I get that way and age.
