    Default Night Reports?

You guys having any luck at night lately? Weather shows more thunderstorms this weekend, so I guess that's out.

But I was wondering if you guys are having any luck at night? A friend of mine went 3 nights in a row and said all he got was gar and stripes.

I went last Saturday night at night around lights and did not get a bite....saw the least amount of fish around the lights ever.

Maybe it was due to the big storm moving in. I'm still going somewhere! I got to at least feel that anticipation.

I wondered with the storm moving in, but I usually do well before a storm bass fishing anyway.

I tried Guntersville last Saturday night and had no luck. Lots of baitfish showed up after about an hour or so of light being submerged, then the long nose gar moved in. Did not get one hit all night. I hadn’t been for a couple of months and was dying to get back out there. Last two times at Guntersville, I limited so I was hoping to get on them again. But, it didn’t happen. May try again this weekend. We’ll see.

We went this past friday and ended up keeping 23 caught over 30-35 could not pull one off of a light that was any shallower than 20 ft deep. we fished several spots we normally catch on and the only one that produced was a light in 35 ft of water jigging a 1/4oz spoon anywhere from 20ft to the bottom

    Nice!!

I haven't been out. I love night fishing too. My friend with a boat has cancer now and can't go so I guess I'm having to wait to bank fish the spring. It's hard meeting people with boats that you can fish with nowadays. I drive 2 hours to Guntersville to bank fish and end up with 1 fish. I think I'll just have to wait it out. You all be safe out there.
