Default Finally gave cranks a try

Well I went Saturday to try pulling cranks the first time. I got on the water at 530 and started I caught a catfish right off the bat then a nice crappie I thought this is going to be great boy was I wrong I trolled till 12 and had 2 fish in the boat. I caught a little bit of everything except what I was after I did loose 3 or 4 so after burning up for 6 hours I put everything up and was fixing to head home but I had my jigging rod and I ended up at the end of a slough so I was going to try a couple of docks before I left first dock I pull up to I caught 17 in one spot in a matter of a few minutes so it turned out to be a pretty good day. I guess I will need more practice pulling crank baits and definitely got to get me some different rods for this.

Glad you got out and got your feet wet with it ! Congrats on ended up with a nice mess ! I’d rather shoot docks than troll any of our waters! That’s why I’m getting out of cranking just not my cup of tea n my area too hot ,too much grass for such a fat man as I ! Now if I was closer to sippi might be a different story!

Over here in west Alabama it seems pretty popular.
