Thread: Might be moving/ info on Wheeler?

What area of Wheeler are you interesed in because there is some good feeder creeks that run into Wheeler where you can find crappie such as Indian creek in Triana,Cotaco creek just downstream from Indian creek and Limestone and Flint creek which is closer to Decatur all hold crappie at some time of year,and the mouths hold cats most of the year,hope I could give you a idea of where to start

Up very close to the dam and the state park?

A beginner still on crappie. But if you want big cats behind browns ferry nuclear plant is the place to be. Could give a little info.

Hey, given the choice between there and Nashville it's a no brainer...

Need to know if there are any pesky rules about boats and vehicles, like inspections, that I should consider too... My jewel of a Tundra is 18 years old, and ain't passin emissions tests most likely...

This is Alabama . We don't know what those things are. Your truck is a King Ranch compared to a lot of things on our roads. You won't be far from Guntersville either. It is a lake you will definitely enjoy when you learn how to fish it. There are several of us who will help you all we can. You better watch ole Fur Flying though. He is a thoroughly dangerous man! lol
