My little girl found a den of rattlers 50 yards off of my back porch last year.... I'm looking almost daily for their return. Good snakes for the environment, really bad in the center of a big back yard where a 7 year old spends the majority of her daylight time when we are home tho... Cool pictures!

I think them timber rattlesnake are beautiful with all the highlights of color they have. You would be surprised at how much you have to do to make one mad to. They know the power they have and they know not much will mess with them. I will kill one quick in the yard but just atmare them from a distance on the woods.

Growing up on a farm and spending all my time on a creek growing up . Snakes don't bother me. But i do have a story. 2 springs ago i went to my favorite honey hole to bream fish and a nasty 5 foot cotton mouth must have hear me catching fish. She came up and everytime i caught won she would come towards it when i got it to the bank. I didn't have anything with me to kill her with and she was so bad you could smell the poison. I eventually gave up and left. I have never seen her again and been back to the same spot numerous times looking for her.
