This was my fishing partner for today Shane he is a very sweet and loving 10 year old with Down’s syndrome. I don’t know who had a better time him or me he had been fishing a few times before but had never caught a fish but we changed that and you would have thought it was the biggest one in the lake so we caught a few more and he wanted to go riding. This was a event put on by C.A.S.T. for kids foundation for kids with disabilities. This was a great event and I will definitely be volunteering again this fall when they have one at Guntersville. Today they had 38 kids and 14 boats show up but with some help from Concord Marina they came up with 2 pontoon boats so all the kids could get on the water there was several fish caught and by the smiles on the kids I think they all had a wonderful time.

That's awesome Robbie. I have a nephew with Down's syndrome. If the kid you took fishing is anything like my nephew you probably did a whole lot of laughing together while fishing.
