East of Elgin would be either first creek or Elk River. Spring creek is on south side of river in Courtland

No trouble! Spring creek ramp you turn off of Hwy 20 at cotton Gin in Courtland or you can Turn at Mallard Creek off of HWY 20 and it will take you to it.

Not much luck after the cold front weekend before last. Couple of smaller crappie along with several good sized striped bass and one largemouth. One blue cat all caught longlining roadrunners. 8 to 12 ft. of water.

You were right water was clear. Should have been a Perfect Day yesterday. I had 3 large females that I caught in 15-25 ft. All three were absorbing their eggs. I fished 4hrs loaded back up and went to Shoals Creek and finished with 11. Things do not look good for Spring Creek.
