I look at as just part of living in the south. Try to stay safe and if it happens, it happens.

I'd build a storm shelter Glad you're safe. Tornados or any kind of bad weather that involves lightning and thunder, I get nervous. I was in a mobile home and a tornado hit and we rolled about 7 times down a hill. Last Christmas Eve one touched down in a neighbor hood I was in. I was the only one who took cover while others kept singing.

I used to fish with this guy at Town Creek a lot and when it would become bad weather moving in, he was like "we're under a bridge". I dropped my poles and started praying.

I got this photo via a group text and can’t find out who took it but this is the storm that hit Douglas, Hyatt / High Point, and Guntersville. The photo was taken from the school at Douglas.

Spring must be a very uneasy time for everyone living in what's well known as the tornado alley states. I live in North Carolina where we are hearing more and more about tornadoes than every before even this far east, but I know I speak for many when I say, I always dread to see the destruction and death caused by these devastating storms in the spring wherever they happen. Prayers for all who find themselves in harms way.
