Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Creek Gravel Pits

I fished Limestone Creek and the old pits today from 9AM till about 6PM. Slow day, ended with half a limit and returned 8 that were over 12 inches. Many, many small crappie and stripe. The creek was 52 degrees at day light and clear, pits out of the current were a couple degrees warmer. It had warmed to 60 by late afternoon. No real pattern, if you found a fish it would bite, but they were far and few between.

Beautiful day to be on the water.

Thanks for the report. Did you put in back behind Mooresville or further back up Limestone?

Good to see you back out on the water!! Thanks for the report DB. Most fish I have been catching have been very scattered.
