Caught some on wheeler today. In 14 ft very slow roadrunner, water was 58 to 62 . Not many caught . But they right. Their staging on points , drop offs , channel edges , and close by cover . None I had today was no were near in coloring spawn .
The truth is hard to accept, so is life .

I went to Cotaco Friday and caught 9 but had to fish 10 to 12 foot deep in 14 to 16 foot of water to find em and went back Saturday and ended up with 22 after finding out to catch em Friday, all fish I caught were deep and I tried my shallow honey hole and didn't find one fish except for skipjacks

They're just waiting for the water to warm. Seems like the deeper water is not warming at all and I've heard of an area on Big G that is getting ready to turn over, with stuff starting to float up off the bottom.
