    Default Coosa River Crappie Club - Neely Henry Tournament


    The Coosa River Crappie Club will hold a tournament Saturday 3/23/19 on Neely Henry Lake. Sign up and weigh in will be held at the Canoe Creek Launch ramp. Sign up from 5:30 till 6:00, fish from 6:30 till 2:00, be back to weigh in by 3:00. Tournament director is Paul Whorton 205-821-8373. Or call me 205-283-7638.

    The tournament turned out great! We had 18 teams that fished and everyone caught plenty of fish. Darla and I won with 7 crappie that weighed 10.01 lbs.     Nice job Roger congratulations,wish my m.s. wouldn’t have been acting up and i could of stayed out there with you all instead of finding me a nice quiet spot and hitting the spot lock and getting some rest,sleep. Still down and have a doctors appointment in the morning to run blood work to c what’s going on. I can’t seem to get any energy and have been losing weight and feel drained all the time. Fingers crossed it’s only my m.s. and nothing else. Once again, congrats!!!
