Default Neely Henry 3-17 and 3-18

Got on the water about 2:30 on Sunday afternoon 3-17 with my little 6 year old fishing buddy. We went to a pier I had caught some fish on the Friday before and well it stunk. Went to a few more piers and nothing doing. Tried to troll in 4-8 FOW and notta thing. Went hunting for something and found fish stacked in creek channel between 11-16 FOW on lots of bait. We started trolling 1/16th tipped with minnow and had 9 hog crappie before we had to head home. Went back on 3-18 early with my dad, but the colder night seemed to have knocked them down to the bottom and not biting well at all till 10:30 in the morning. Bite was still slow, but every fish was a 12+ incher with a couple in the 15inch range. Great 2 days for size. Hope the warm temps send um shallow here in the next few days. I was on the lower end of the lake, seems the middle of the lake already has went shallow.

    Ready for the weekend!
