Good report ! Glad you got to get out for a bit and give em a try! Looks like it’s going to get fairly warm in couples more weeks it ought to get em going!
Went for a couple of hrs. after school yesterday. Fished bay on the upper Coosa. Warm sun had warmed the shallow water to 60 degrees. Pulled jigs in 4 to 8 fow without much success. Caught a dozen or so shorts and a couple of keeper males. Looks like its still going to be a few days before they move up. Maybe next week. All fish were released and no minnards were harmed.

Thanks for a great report coach! Glad you were able to get out. That's the first 60 degree water report I've heard. Figures, suppose to drop to 32 this weekend.
Way to go coach, I knew you could do it.
