I'm gonna fish the gville stop for the experience. I dont want to look like a fool tho so I have some questions. I couldn't find the answers on their site.

Can you put in at any ramp you choose?
When you weigh in, do u park your boat and tote your fish up there or do u get in a line and drive thru or what?

Also, why do those guys run to the weigh in from the tank their waiting at?

You have to go to a mandatory rules meeting the night before. They will explain the rules to you. It has been several yrs. since I fished one but at that time you could launch from anywhere on the lake as long as you were back at the weigh in site on time.
Every one I,ve seen people toted their fish. I don't know why they run unless they want some exercise

They’re running because water drops are weight. ACT made us quit running... we dont look athletic and agile enough to be running... we probably looked more like a liability in their eyes! LOL

That was exactly what I figured. It was a weight deal.
