Got out on the lake with my 6 year old and dad about 830. 2 hrs trolling in a muddy creek gave us 5 nice crappie, but we decided to move. Went to another creek found 3 other boats and everyone snagging fish. Lots of shorts but good ones in the mix. Boy got to reel in a bunch, but we figured out the plug wasnt in boat.... after getting down to underwear and trying to fix the problem from the bank <sorry to the owners if they had to see me on their ramp in my skimmies> ... couldnt get plug in had to leave. Great day and thanks to the fella who had jumper cables since running the bilge killed the cranking battery... crazy day but got a mess of fish and boy was happy.
FYI.... dont let your dad fool with your boat haha.. he will take the plug out you never take out and the BOAT jumper cables will mysteriously end up in his RV. tight lines folks

Glad it all worked out and everyone survived the experience. I think every boat owner forgets that plug probably once over the lifetime of owning a boat. It's always a surprise when you figure it out and realize you need to get out of the water fast.
