    Default Went fishing, ran into 3 celebrities!


    My son and I went fishing this afternoon. We drove right up on Richard Gene and Momma Sue and then low and behold we ran into Slabprowler. What are the odds of running into 3 celebs while fishing?

    I think Mitch was about ready to throw his partner in the water before the day was over. LOL That dude was catching fish like crazy. He was using Mitch's tackle, Mitch's rod and reel and fishing in Mitch's boat. Mitch held his own pretty good though.

    It ended up being one of our best afternoons ever for single pole fishing. We caught maybe 20 crappie and 25 White Bass. I can catch crappie long lining and spider rigging but single pole fishing has been a very elusive technique for me, but we're slowly piecing it together.

    Not no hero here ! But I did convert another ditch pickle fisherman to crappie fishing today . he said now he knows why it’s so addictive ! said he never caught em like that ! Finally felt sorry him just before we ran into ya and handed him one my poles and he went to catching fish like crazy! I guess those crappie never seen a jig worked like that! (Lol) We kelp 10 crappie and some gills and crackers for a good mess! Had tons of short strikes and caught many many other fishes!
