I have fished Little Bear and Cedar Lake once both in the same day. We didn't do very well but when I go back I will focus on Cedar. We bought our permits at CJ's in Belgreen. Can't remember how to get to the ramp but it was very close and easy. Pretty sure the lake was on my Maps card.

Cedar is a neat lake, not sure what you'd do this time of year to get on them though. There is some standing timber to jig.

If I was headed there I would start here. There are several of these spots but these are the easiest to get to from Slick Rock at Cedar.

I've never fished Coosa. I think I would hang out at Richard Gene's house and follow him.biggrin

This time of the year on these lakes they are deep 12 to 20 foot. This is what I have seen.
I fish Upper Bear most of the time.

At Cedar I do better right outside of the timber in 15' to 18' deep most of the time and at Upper Bear I do better in tree tops and brush in about the same depth.
