limestone bay 01-18
fished limestone bay on the north end from 730 till 3ish today and caught 40-50 crappie but only 13 keepers....all fish caught on crappie magnets or 1 inch panfish assassins in crystal shad. water was clear and about 3 ft below full pool.

did you have any luck....I started in the stumps but after an hour of no action and several acres of gar surfacing I went back to the creek and bass fished my way in to my crappie hole....bass were biting too but when I found crappie I concentrated on that.....lost a few good ones on the crappie magnet due to me not being used to such a small hook.

Yea we had the best day of the new year. Biggest on average yet . You no it was funny how they hit. All jigs . Just throw it out wait for the cork to be gone . Fished in the 6 ft water, followed the shad . But none shallow. I’ll post a thread in a moment .
