    Default Logan Martin in March

Looking to come down mid to late March for our 1st time, what should we expect for water temps and lake level ?
we primarily cast twister tails and do some dock shooting .Any info /advice would be greatly appreciated ,we are staying in Cropwell at Lake Front motel .

    Thanks

Lake level should still be 5 to 6 feet below full pool, which would be normal. As for water temp, mid 50's depending on weather.

Of course all this is just a SWAG. Weather around here in March can be crazy.

There are thousands of docks on this lake. The fish should be getting ready to spawn and most should be shallow but you never know. When the lake is down like it should be at that time it can be hard to launch a large boat at some places but a smaller one usually is not too bad. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Yep what they said. Maybe in the 60s on water temps depending upon weather. Try tubes under a float as well. Been hearing good reports lately from bank fishermen catching them in the back of shallow creeks on float an fly. Black and chartreuse tubes seem to be the best.
