Default Gulf of Guntersville Part 2

Snuck off for a couple hrs this afternoon to see if I could catch a few white bass. My god, that place was rough and I was bank fishing. Caught quite a few smallmouth and then found some crappie. Caught one pretty decent one. I'm hooked on this ultralight fishing, you just never know what you're going to catch.

Good job IDOT. The next time I catch a small mouth it will be my first one.

It's fun to play down there and move around the rocks.

Y'all should know that IDOT and I know each other pretty good, even though we've never met face to face. We're both long time members of another forum dedicated primarily to deer hunting. That site isn't quite as "family oriented" as this one, so we "talk" to each other with much sarcasm and poking on that site, so if I slip up and say something ugly to him like "I'm surprised you could catch a crappie, you green carp fishing moran" or something like that, just know it was out of love. LOL

We need to have an intervention and support for IDOT. I feel like he's at one of life's turning points. He's been a hard core ditch pickle guy but now he's seeing the light!

LOL....I'm converted. I think I catch more ditch pickles now than I did when I tried to catch them.

That's the exact same thing I told AC too. I can't go without catching some bass. We've caught some good uns too.
