    Default Rockn the1199


    So I pulled the trigger on1199. Remembering the old 1198 and running a360 on it. All I can say is wow. Perfect unit for 360 on front. It showed a lotta fish yesterday. Quite impressed. So guys I know it's nice to have latest greatest. But the square screen on the 1199 is a fishing machine with a 360. Nuff said.

    Lee, did you download an update for the 1199 off line? I heard you can do that, just not sure how to do it. I need to update mine.

    Not sure bob. Bought it used just hooked it up but I measured 360 pic on helix 12 and 1199. Same size

    In full screen mode what was that size Lee?
    Want to compare it to my Solix.

    Naw solid 15 is bigger. No doubt. I just measured the height of screen on helix 12 which is a widescreen against the square screen of the 1199. I have both of them on my boat. Guess I'm really posting this to let people know. Hold on to them older square screens for the front. Or mail to me fer recycling.

    I have the 12” Solix, had heard it was bigger on the Helix. When you have time put a ruler on it for me, please.
