    I'm the exact same way, some may think I'm kind of a jerk at the ramp prepping my boat but I don't let anyone distract my routine. A couple of weeks ago I got distracted hooking to my boat at my shop from a guy working on a building next door. Sure nuff pulled out and heard a thud, I forgot to fold the jack up, luckily no damage this time but it won't happen again.

    Stuff happens. Being distracted caused me to not securely latch trolling motor and now I only have half a fin on the bottom.

    OUCH! Glad you hung in there and got your dad on some fish considering and glad everybody is ok. Blame it in the full moon coming up! Anything can happen will sometimes on a full moon!!!

    It's hard to find the humor today, but like Slab said, you'll laugh about it later. I did one that bounced the whole trailer off the hitch one time, funny now, but what a pain then. Lesson learned. Glad you guys are okay.
