    Default Jig head hook size

Gonna buy me a bunch of jig heads for the coming long lining season and was wondering what size hook you long liners prefer on your jig.

What he said...bigger hooks work best....at least on the MS Big Four where we fish they do. They hook them in roof of mouth instead of lip where it might pull or tear off.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I use 6, 4 and 2 . Just LL I wouldn't probably go with 2 long shank if I could find them but any will work.
