I have had decent hauls since mid October. I have found fish in the creeks along channels where structure is present. The fish were suspended above the structure 8-10 feet.

Thank you. Is the water stained? I know they have had plenty of rain this week.

It will likely be stained pretty good. I went last Saturday and battle a tough northwest wind. We only caught ten.

My weatherbug app shows light N-NW winds Friday-Monday and temps from 60-70. I hope they are correct and the cold snap don't kill the bite totally.

Saturday my mom, niece and myself went to a creek and it was muddy. We did catch 2 but saw a ton of fish on the fish finder in 20-25 fow. Saturday night I went down to the community dock and didn't get a bite. I talked to some local guys on the dock and they told me where I could possibly find some clearer water. Sunday morning we found some clearer water and caught 67 while throwing back around 15 or so. It was slow but a consistent bite as long as I stayed in 20-25 fow. I was spider rigging with jigs tipped with a minnow about 10-12 ft deep.

Cowikee Creek but the water should be a lot better in more creeks by now. It was only like 2-3 days after the 6+ inches when I was there. I think its going to rain a couple inches Saturday so it will be muddy again.
