    Default Cotaco creek

I fished Cotaco creek today and caught nine fish but none would measure so no pics however there was a ton of shad minnows that had just moved into the creek and the fish were following them,I may be wrong but I think it will be game on soon as the larger fish will be moving in soon after the water cools down a little more, temps today was 73°

Was there about a 2 weeks ago and there were thousands and thousands of baitfish on top. I was scooping them with a dip net for my pond. And yes your right it won’t be long. Was gonna go this evening and try the lights out but my wonderful wife had other plans for me

my dad fished Cotaco yesterday and caught 6, all released. Said water temp was 74 degrees......i think things should be getting really good by next Friday after we have about 10 days in the 40s - 60s.

This rain today should help cool the water off.

This cold snap with the wind should roll that cool air into the water column and cool it pretty good. That's my story and I'm stickin to it! lol
