Grilled sheepshead on the half shell is amazing. Great flavor. And grilled red fish on the half shell. I think I prefer the sheepshead. And yes a day on the water with my wife is the best. I enjoy that she enjoys it. She don’t have a lot of luck freshwater fishing but she loves saltwater fishing.

Sheep head are the poor man’s snapper and are as good as snapper. They are regularly substituted for snapper in restaurants, or used to be when I were selling them years ago. That’s a fine mess of specks
