Yep, thanks to the help of some really kind people sharing their knowledge with me. You guys have helped me to become a bonafide crappie fisherman. I've caught more crappie since joining crappie.com and meeting 3 of you for fishing trips than I caught in the previous 20 years! I can never thank you guys enough.
I still ain't too good at catching them dock shooting. LOL I still ain't got the "something just wasn't right" strike detection down like you do.

so any idea what year is gen 1 and what year is gen 2?
Gen 2 are just the last few years. Not sure exactly what year. If you can hold spot lock pretty close you got a gen2. My old gen1 was around a 10ft circle the gen 2 3ft circle

Google said 2012 Icast was the first gen2. Probably would have been in store by 2013.
