Default Rentals at feeshrman paradise are shut down

After complaints from my neighbors and a meeting from the hoa. I got a call from my insurance company threatening to cancel me over short term rentals , being State Farm canceled me in may over renting it was a good time to move on. I'm trying to let everybody know and have canceled all my bookings. I had a dream of having fishermen down but didn't dream of what it would end up being used for. So I guess it worked out in the end.

It's a shame for such a worthy dream. Hopefully this door closed so that a window will open. HOA (hindering ownership in America) definitely have their down side, like some not allowing American flags to be flown in front of the home. This issue was thankfully addressed in post 9/11 cases.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Having a plan broken up still smarts, and leaves a bruise. Regrets.

Sorry Bama, being a family oriented site my vocabulary has left me speechless. Well almost speechless.

No it's all good redge. The insurance company has no problem with friends coming up. So I can have a few up at the time the rentals are just shut down. Now that I'm making it my personal residence and doing a permanent loan I've got to flip back to normal insurance also. We will still have some good times. Just minus the BS of renting short term. I've got a buddy that's using the the top floor long term. So I retained the main floor and basement camp will be fun to see everybody. Plenty of room now.

Actually I'm best friends with the hoa president. No problem there. He just told me how drunk my renters were. I think you are missing my point. I started theses rentals to offset my payment and give fishermen a reasonable place to stay while they fished Martin. It has been grossly abused so far. I knew from the start I was not able to do vacation rentals in the hood. I'm not looking to make enemies of my neighbors over a couple hundred dollars.
