    Default Storm!

I hope none of our north AL folks were on the water when that storm just hit. Trees and power poles down all over the area according to the power company.

Y'all chime in so we know you're safe.

Not in North Alabama but it got very rough here in Middle Alabama. Lightning hit a big tree about 100 yards from my house skint the bark off and broke it in half, broke the top out of a big oak in the front yard, and tore the roof up on the building across the road. Lucky only one 10’ limb on the roof but I don’t think it hurt anything.

Glad you both were okay and only sustained property damage. All that can be repaired. After having a tornado in my yard this spring, we've about got everything back together. A wise older man told me once, "as long as your trouble stays at the barn, you're fortunate." He didn't literally mean "barn" but.... very appropriate.

We're sitting here, still in the dark, thinking about going to bed.

Look like the only thing damaged around me was my garden. Tomatoes and okra bent over. Happy everyone is ok

Thank God that you all are safe. I had one touch down in our backyard last Christmas Eve. Sirens going off....scary stuff.
