    Thats true but with technology it sure does help eliminate all the dead water and helps you locate fish,structure, creek Chanel’s ,humps, break lines , etc ,etc ,etc ,etc,

    I agree , I love to find new spots with a depth finder......much better than dragging a piece of pvc pipe across the bottom.
