Minn Kota , love them or leave them
Well for the third time in 1 1/2 years my trolling motor has put me up the creek without a paddle. Damn Terrova went out again this morning. No right or left turn, just speed with foot or hand controls. In the shop now, all I can say is they better have a new one for me, not parts, I’ll take it off and make a nice video for YouTube and you all can watch me put her up in flames. Getting old. Anyone one else have any problems with theirs, or did I get the only one made by the one person in the factory that was sill drunk from the night before.

James I had one on my Lowe and never gave me any trouble got one on my skeeter hope it's a good one. I think I would make them give me a new one at a discount.

Sorry you are having trouble, and hope it gets fixed correctly or replaced.
Interestingly, I had a motorguide that came with my Triton...nothing but problems. I replaced with a Minn Kota. I also put a Minn Kota on my War Eagle...no problems. I am fairly rough with my TMs in the laydowns and surprised they have held up so well. Even with all the stray fishing line I seem to collect with my TM's

James I have never had problems with mine, Have had it about 5 years, talk to them at Alabama Trolling Motors about it.They have a web site with a phone number, they have never given me bad info.If you decide to go up there let me know and I will go with you.
