This is my first fall to ever crappie fish. What will the front do to the fishing tomorrow? Shut them down completely, make them hold tighter to cover, or what is your experience with this? My plan is to be on the water at good daylight.

I was also thinking about going in the morning but looks like it will be a real strong wind from the north here in my part of the woods. I will have to just wait till morning and see. I know that the fish won't mind the wind as much as I would trying to fish and fight the trolling motor at the same time not to mention the rocking and rolling of waves. But you never know about a cold front coming in with fishing it can be good or bad. Give it a try or you will never know.

My plan is to shoot docks on the north bank of an east/west run. Maybe I'll be out of the wind. That's the plan to start with anyway

I am retired, I can wait on another day. It would be tuff out there today.
I fish for enjoyment. Fighting the wind is no fun even if they are biting. I'd stay home or do something else.
