Glad you got a few and ran into dichbasser I think all of us would like a lesson for him. He is a fish catching son of a gun.

got out for a few hours of scouting today and ran across an education in the form of Ditch Basser who I spent most of the afternoon observing......I ended up with 7 caught and released, thanks to DB for the tips. DB did really good as is usual but he can fill you in on that.

Glad you caught a few. Soak up everything you watched Ditch do, hes a sho nuff slab slayer!
I kept a half limit the first hour and a half, caught and released maybe 20 or 30 more. The bite was slower today, but plenty of agreeable fish. Half came of a 1/16oz Marabou jig in White and Chartreuse with a Red head targeting isolated brush in 4 to 6 feet of water with a single pole. The remainder were caught on a 1" slider (Chartreuse and Orange) on a 1/32oz jig head. I didn't bring my kayak slider rigging, but I think I could have done much better with that pattern today. The water was cloudy with visibility of about 12 inches and 75 degrees.
I was glad to run into riverboss, always nice to fish with another skinny water angler.
Nice mess! Thanks for sharing !good job
Nic job guys.
Always like running into other members on the water and getting to know them. Yea, DB is all over that Limestone bay thing. Way to go guys.
