I need to order some jigs heads that are best for dock shooting, I need suggesting, I'm a newbie shooter. I seen some round head 1/16 with red #2 sickle hooks with spur for $12.66 per 100 count, is that a good one for shooting?
Any help would be appreciated very much.....

I like the 1/16 with #2 red sickle hook, and also 1/32 with #2 sickle when I want a slower fall. Lots of the dock shooting hits come on the drop, and sometimes the lighter jig is needed for sluggish fish. I get all of my heads from Grousefly on here...you cam pm him. His jigs are great, and .10 per head, unpainted.

I bought a B&M Shooter in 6 foot, and they say the rod is design for the 1/16 jig, but I bet a 1/32 will work to don't ya think?
You will loss a lot of jigs with #2 hooks I use #4 and #6 Just my 2 cents but try a few of each and see what works for you
I agree with lowe175, # 2 hook will get hung up more and you will lose a lot of them under docks. I use a # 2 hook for most of my other fishing because I feel I will catch more fish with the larger hook. Most folks shoot docks with the smaller 1/32 jigs. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

You might also consider looking into some marabou feather jigs made by Cowboy on the site. They're killers for dock shooting!
