    If they find the black crappie in Neely or Logan they will definitely catch them black crappie on the crank baits. Cranking the Big G 31 May

    I have tried this on both of these lakes several times and not had much luck at all. From my experience black crappie will hit a crank bait but not as much as white crappie do.

    On Guntersville I have only caught one black in three years of cranking. All other fish have been whites.
