    Default WINDY DAY


    Made it out yesterday to try out a different area .despite the high winds ended up with 11 crappie 10-14" several females full of eggs in 7 fow
    fought the wind till about 1 then headed for some calm waters for the search of some gills was able to find them pretty quick had a limit in lil over 2 hours

    Great job! I think the crappie are done and there not all going to layout this year. These mold winters are hurting the crappie fishing. The last 3 years have gotten worse and spring was the worst I can remember in a long time. Looks like the gills are doing good congrats

    Agree. Last summer drought, lowest winter pool lately, mild winter, interesting spring of many shorts. Found my best fish in November-December when I normally find them in late October.

    my moms b day coming up May 27th so that mess fits the bill just right for that day . She loves fish!
