guess the crappie spawn is over on lake jordan went tuesday and thursday got skunked on crappie both days planning on going to yates this weekend any suggestion on where and depth would be helpful still trying to learn these lakes i am use to muddy water and shallow from mississippi

Do a little scanning around any points of main lake that have brush on them , and are close to the channel. Should find fish holding tight to the cover just waiting on a minnow or jig to be placed in front of his/her face. You may only find a few or a wad you 'll just have to look and play around with them but they will hit. Good luck.
