    Default Wheeler 3-8/3-9

Wed got on the water about daylight ran down to flint thinking maybe the muddy water hadn't made it to the river yet, but I was wrong. I fished about an hr caught a couple shorts and decided to try behind the harbor. Went behind harbor and scratched out 12 keepers. Today got there about daylight went behind harbor and caught 20 keepers and 10-12 shorts left about 1030 think I could have scratched out a limit, but had a couple things I needed to get done before work tomorrow. Was fishing 3-5 FOW pushing jigs chart/black/blue was best for me but caught fish on several different colors. Water temp was 54-55 before I left. Overall great 2 days fishing, way better than working.

Nice day out. When I was heading into work yesterday morning I saw 5 boats out there pushing. I was sad that I wasn't one of those

Surprised the water was that cool. The cold nights seem to holding it off a little. Congrats on finding them an putting a few in the freezer.
