    Is hot This was the best out of 8 keepers yesterday morning in Three Rivers lake. Name:  image.jpg
Views: 412
Size:  49.1 KB 15 3/4". Had many short fish to keep it interesting. Had a spoon bill on about 5 1/2 ft long but being by myself I didn't get a picture before I broke him off

    That spoon bill must have been a hoot on the light tackle. Too bad he broke you off, that would have been an awesome pic!! Congrats.

    Boy Howdey yea he was. He was on a 12 ft trolling rod, I got him up along side of the boat and broke him off on purpose , didn't want to do him any more harm than I had to. I wish I had a picture.

    Hey Captdave a spoonbill is a catfish with a long flat paddle shaped snout that's at least a third of his body length. Kinda prehistoric looking. They are protected in most places but there is a season on some places where they can be harvested for their roe.
