    Default second creek

water levels up 5ft or better in last couple of weeks, plus very windy. fished hard and long with very little success (april 10 & 11). haven't fished this area much or areas with water level fluctuations and i'm gussing with that much increase in water level it has to effect the fishing. any input would be appreciated.

yep the high water made it very tough or slow this past weekend, but the water is back to near normal, stay on the shallow side and toward the back, if trolling red and green has been very good, if casting 1/16 or smaller in underwater brush will be best,

I caught the biggest crappie I've ever caught drifting upstream on 2nd Creek. My brand new electronic scale wouldn't work for some reason but I have a picture somewhere of her laying on my tailgate with a tapemeasure. She was 18 inches long. That was in 1998 or 1999.

thanks for the info tnjeff, hope to get back on the lake the 24,25, and 26. looks like the water level has stabilized somewhat, maybe we will do better.
