    Default Lodging for Weiss Lake

Try " Weiss Lake Lodge Centre " home of the big Crappie statue.
Good website with plenty of photos.

Located in Centre, Al. and is great for anglers. Big clean rooms, 32" flat screen TV's, Internet Access every room, swimming pool, fish cleaning house, Freezer for fish storage, plenty of parking, battery charging stations, video security system, enclosed by fence, customer coin laundry, in-room coffee, in-room microwave and mini frig. New motel opened in 2009.

4lb and 3 1/2 lb crappie mount in lobby and only 3 minutes to year round public launch. Close to shopping, drug stores, and restaurants.

Phone # 256-927-1501 - ask for Mike or BJ Culberson
Take a Kid fishing, keep only enough to eat, and release the rest to spawn again. Pop

Weiss lake lodge is a great place to stay. My dad and I stayed there last year and were very pleased.

I find it unusual that Weiss Lake Lodge doesn't post their rates on their site.

Is there a reason for this?

Why stay anyplace else???? New hotel with new beds and only a year old!! I would compare it to a Hampton Inn. Have stayed at JR's and was not impressed. Beds are old and you wonder how many people have slept in them and for how many years??
Plus Weiss Lake Lodge has flat screens in all the rooms and a ton of parking!!!

Sounds like Lake Weiaa Lodge is what we are going to try. I guess JR's is just like a lot of fishing camps that has been around for a while. I stayed in a lot of motels during my 37 years on the road and they all get kind of run down after a while. Thanks from another Roll Tider stuck in Tennessee

Bay Springs Motel and Campground. we stayed there last spring and had a great time. owners are very nice and helpful. offers boat docks, ramp, bait shop, cleaning stations and close to town for food and walmart. located in bay springs cove on the lower end of lake. I'll be there in march, can't wait to get out of this &@#! cold and snow.
