I like different color in clear water

a different color for murky water

    different color for bright days

    different for cloudy days.

so i keep 7 or 8 different colors of jig tails in my shirt pocket if im not getting bit after a little while i go to changing color of jig tails

i lot of times i will be catching fish in a
brush pile and they quit hitting i can

change color tails and start catching them again in the same place

i have caught them good one day on a color and the next day they not touch that color. Its like they wanted shad one day and craw fish the next day

not sure but it is good to change colors if not getting hits on your favorite. try the creme 3 tone colors they work good.

    Default Colors

If I had to have only two colors to choose from it would be black body with chart tail and purple body with chart tail

I found a blue Bobby Garland jig last year on accident that really worked all winter long. I fished some places where other people were fishing and wasnt catching any but I was with that jig. Its definately worth a try.
Dont catch em all, save a few for seed!

Since I've been reading the replies to this thread I've added several different colors to my little arsenal. I've since added an assortment of plastics like the bass assassin and the curly tail grubs. I've been sticking to hackle and marabou jigs, but I've found that plastics will work when nothing else will. I'm about to load up the boat and hit a lake this afternoon. It is such pretty day I don't want to waste it doing my honey do list. I can take care of that never ending list later.
