    Default Weiss, smith or guntersvile

I live in and crappie fish southern Ohio. I am planning a trip to Alabama mid April. My sister lives on smith lake and I have a free place to sleep during my stay.. Can I catch a meal at Smith or wld it be worth driving to Guntersville or another lake?

Same here with the rain, seems like it has rained everyday for the last 4 or 5 weeks... I assume we are a few weeks behind y’all when it comes to the spawn.. it usually doesn’t turn in until the 1st few weeks of May here.. I have abt 3 weeks of vacation scattered throughout the month of April and was thinking of heading down that way for a few days to visit/fish. I haven’t fished down there before so I don’t know much abt it other than reading on here and watching ol Richard Gene’s YouTube channel. Haha

Headed to Logan Martin on March 13th for 5 days. I seen where water temp is 57 degrees. Anybody you know fish that lake with some info on the crappie bite?

Both of these questions would probably be best seen in the regular Alabama forum instead of the Off Topic section. You would get more responses.
