    Default Gulf Shores Vacation

Greeting from Mid-Missouri. Stayed in the Little Lagoon causeway and was able to catch some Specks off the seawall. My buddy was bottom fishing and got a few Specks, Redfish, and Flounder. I caught all mine on a jerkbait. Another great Gulf Shores Vacation! Sorry if this is on the wrong forum

The area I grew up. Nice speck and flounder. The USS Alabama is certainly a site to behold

Those are some nice specks and flounder. I use to mainly fish for reds and specks all along the Alabama Gulf coast, Mobile Bay and Delta. Had a 2005 22’ Blazer Bay which was great for the area it would handle 3 to 4 foot waves with no problem and only drafted 12” which made it great in shallow water. It was the first new boat I’ve ever purchased. Just got to much to handle for one person and my wife didn’t like the rough water we were in at times. So I bought an older 18 foot Astro bass boat and started back crappie fishing about 8 years ago. Finally sold the Blazer Bay last spring for nearly what I paid for it.
